More Covid Restrictions
December 11, 2020
The seemingly never-ending cycle of Covid has hit another bump in Minnesota as numbers spike again. Concerned Governor Walz took action and put new restrictions in place to keep his beloved state safe. Some of his restrictions included stopping dine-in at all restaurants, closing movie theaters, and most youth activities, which in a way affected our school because it influenced our superintendent to no longer allow in-person tutoring. Although many staff and students were disappointed by this, we need to be safe and the numbers are out of control. We are getting around 7,000 new cases a day, and although they are working on a vaccine we still aren’t sure when we will all get it. That means the only thing we can do is stay home and wait. Although it may not be the most enjoyable thing, Walz says, “I understand it’s not easy and it’s not fair but it’s a sacrifice that we need to make.” Stay home and stay safe everyone!
